About the founder
I’m a mom of three, living in the beautiful chaos of family life in the Greater Toronto Area. My days are filled with faith, love, and more late-night cups of chai than I can count. Like many mothers, my journey into motherhood has been a blend of challenges, growth, and the kind of small, sacred moments that quietly shape who you become.

Daughters of Hawwa (DH)
was born from my own pregnancy journey
My story began in 2018, when I was expecting my first child. I quickly realized how difficult it was to find maternity wear that was comfortable, modest, and modern. The few specialized stores in the GTA offered limited options, and by the time I was expecting my second child in 2020, the pandemic had shut many of them down, leaving only a handful of online choices, none that truly met my needs.
As a Muslim, modesty is not just a choice but a way of life for me, but so is comfort and style. I often found myself wishing for clothing that blended these elements naturally, pieces that didn’t require endless layering or compromise. What began as frustration slowly turned into a dream: to create comfortable, modest, and modern maternity wear that truly understands the needs of expecting mothers.
After five years of research, countless prototypes, and more lessons than I can count, Daughters of Hawwa was born. This brand is my labour of love, a reflection of patience, persistence, and quiet determination. It feels like a fourth child, nurtured with faith, love, and unwavering dedication.
